If you love golf, there’s nowhere better than South Florida, home of year-round golfing opportunities. That includes here in Avenir. In this issue we take a look at the golf amenities available at Panther National, as well as the Sandhill Crane Golf Club, including its Championship Course and the new Nest Par 3.

If golf is not your game, we also profile renowned tennis coach Annette Whitehead, who has brought her decades of experience to Avenir, offering lessons full of hands-on coaching expertise. Next, we visit the family-owned deFabrique Aesthetic Dentistry practice. We chat with Dr. Nicolas deFabrique, his son Dr. Alec deFabrique, and Alec’s wife, Dr. Alyssa Bonomo on why they chose to open their third location right here at Avenir.

Our regional cultural series continues in this issue with a look at Glazer Hall in Palm Beach, which is building on its inaugural season last year with an outstanding second season full of cultural and entertainment offerings. Finally, we preview a wonderful upcoming Holiday Boutique shopping event on Nov. 12 at the Regency at Avenir Clubhouse that will feature distinctive gifts and holiday treasures.

It has been an exciting summer here at Avenir, with an array of new stores opening at Avenir Town Center. This will certainly continue into the fall and winter. We’ll see you around the community, checking out all that western Palm Beach Gardens has to offer!

MAYOR’S VETERANS GOLF CLASSIC RETURNS FOR 20TH YEAR

The 20th annual Mayor’s Veterans Golf Classic returns to the Sandhill Crane Golf Club on Nov. 7, bringing together golfers, community leaders, businesses and supporters for a day dedicated to honoring those who have served the nation.

DEFABRIQUE AESTHETIC DENTISTRY CREATES STUNNING SMILES

The team at deFabrique Aesthetic Dentistry has been giving area residents spectacular smiles for more than 25 years — and the practice now has a location in Avenir Town Center.
